I hate banks

I generally like my bank but not today... We had a few online payday loans before we filed and they kept trying to take the money out of my account. Husband and I opened a new account with same bank because we liked them... and I tried to close the account, I couldn't, they wouldn't. So over draft fee's racked up... to $340 DH got paid Thursday... I had 551 left in the account..... my bank took the $340 from my active account and used it to pay the overdraft fee's. leaving me with nothing since I had a check go through and I bought my dad lunch and got a carwash...... crappy crap crap...

They better be able to reverse that since I need that money to pay for my computer to get fixed and damnit I was planning to take the payday loan people to court since they violated the automatic stay.

Thats stinks!!! Maybe you should have opened another account at another bank and just left that one hanging with a 0 balance.
YES please do take that payday loan co. to court, those jerks....I would after all this. Make pay those overdraft fees and then some.

i'm gonna have to... since after talking to the bank the only thing she could do is to reverse an overdraft fee in my active account to give me $13 but that there was no way to reverse the transfer to the other account... man this whole process stinks.

whats worse is the lady said that if i would have had less money even $50 less than they would have never taken it for the other account. because if there is money there than they can leagally take it, wonder why they waited until now... and now i guess i will pray for the refund check from my school to come and a check from the previous landlord for my security deposit.

Taking money from your account REALLY violates the automatic stay! Notify your lawyer immediately that this happened. The bk courts do not look kindly on any creditor violating the automatic stay. Get your lawyer to get the trustee after them to return the money.
