I am in Mississippi and it is downright oppressive here. I am very fortunate and blessed to live in a comfortable home with air conditioning and ceiling fans.
My prediction is that those of us who live in the Southeast will eventually evolve gills
Ugh!

No central air....
and most days feel like I am being steamed in a rice cooker. NJ did cool down from a few days in the 90's-high 80's. We cant use the window units as they jack up the electric to much. Its going to be a very hot summer.
I once visited a family in Boca that had no air con. the lived in this tiny little bungalo that was real cluttered. I thought that was a great way to have as stroke.

I wish I could say the same for Massachusetts!! It about 60 degrees and raining here today! :-( The weather in New England changes very frequently...it almost seems as though we are always stuck in spring weather, and never get summer weather! lolThe information provided is not, and should not be considered legal advice. 82 in Dallas with a high of 93. And it's *ONLY* June, and we're *ONLY* "getting started" with summer.
I hate Texas. If I weren't dating the guy I am dating now, I'd SERIOUSLY start to take action to move back to California. Even if I never hope to own a home there.Chapter 13 Filed "Old Law"

AHHHHHH -- SPOILED AREN'T WE???
Weather in the upper 80's here in KY....... last week a couple of days in the 90's.... weather is so unpredicable here in KY...... hot - then cold - rainy - then no rain for days...... 90 degrees today then 75 degrees tomorrow.....
As long as the humidity is not too high - heat does not bother me..... lived in South Georgia for 10 years (loved it)..... BUT when that humidity kicks in I have to go hunting the A/C too...... (asthma).....
Love days where its 90 degree and low humidity.........
We complain about the heat, we complain about the cold..............

It's 87hot with 60 humid....A whole lot better than yesterday! BUT, we have a severe thunderstorm warning and that must have dropped the humidity?! Yes, 13 counties are under watch and that barometer is dropping....I think it's coming from central FL...Filed Oct 2005discharged February 2007,Shapeless in the fire's glow, tell me if you think you know,

Just hit 91 in my truck ( and the A/C doesn't work ). I'm a Northern Boy, to me 40 degrees in sunny means shorts and a long sleave t-shirt.
I can't wait for those nice cool October nights.Filed Chapter 13: 3/12/07

Well, come on down farther south and work in a north/south facing train garage! I was drenched today, difficulty keeping glasses dry to read schematics! Who the heck builds North/South garages in SoFla????? The weather is gorgeous though!!!"You once asked me for advice. You want some now? Never pass up a good thing." yeah, that train yard/garage would be a HOT place to be today........ I don't envy anyone that works out in the heat all day........ things like building roads, roofing, etc...........HOT WORK.............and small pay for most of it!!!
87 here today, but low humidity..............LOVERLY............... SO NICE......
But its fixin to change............. in the 90's for the next 10 days, no rain in sight, and everything will burn up but my garden (that I will water).....
So guess the humdity will jump up here too again and I can ****** like the rest of you about it.........lol......
I can remember days in Georgia where I took a shower, reached in the closet for clean clothes and they were wet too from the humidity............ hot and sticky............
Hang in there guys it could be 20 degress BELOW.............lolMinny
