Chances are that your daughter's tooth enamel is on the softer side - it's an inherited thing that tends to run in families, not from a lack of calcium or eating sweets. Same thing for the extra rows of teeth. Although you and your husband may not have these teeth problems, chances are if you look back on both sides of the family far enough, there will be some indication of teeth problems in some relative. We had a similar situation with my daughter's teeth, except in her case she was missing multiple teeth! Took thousands of dollars to put in implants, braces to move the teeth she did have....sigh.... Her teeth look perfect now.

Your daughter's dental problems have nothing to do with toxemia in pregnancy, so no need to feel guilty about that at all! If your budget allows, ask your family dentist about putting a colorless sealant on her teeth to help with the weak enamel and keep cavities at a minimum.

My daughter had the same problem (mind you it was about 15 years ago) however I contacted crippled children, they actually paid for all. I don't know if they still do that but it was a God send for me
      Filing January 08.

When a mistake becomes a lesson was it really a mistake?
