    When it rains it pours...

    My mom called this morning to let me know that one of my cousins lost her 2 year old last night. The little girl and her brother were riding on a 4 wheeler type vehicle. Brother dropped something, stopped the vehicle and got off to retrieve it. Somehow the 4 wheeler went back into gear and ran off into a pond. In spite of my cousin and her husband both going in after her, by the time they got the child out, it was too late. And just now, one of our friends from church called to say that someone we knew was killed in a wreck this afternoon. This lady that was killed lost her only child( who was a very good friend to DS) to a car wreck a year and a half ago.

    Cherish your family and friends. We never know how much time we have left with them, and what is waiting just around the corner.

      OMGosh - my prayers are with both families. I have a 3 year old and I know I can't watch her every second of every day, but I wish I could.

        Life plays it cruel games not only on us but other we know and love.....

        We know there is a "reason" for everything...... tho much is unexplainable....with no reasoning.....

        Terrible thing to loose a child...... will be very hard for them to deal with....

        My thoughts/prayers with you and yours..............

          I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone so close to you and so young. My brother and sister in law, lost thier little boy last year and it was so hard.

            I am so sorry to learn of the loss of these precious little ones. I cannot imagine losing a child!

            Although things are still really tough in my household, especially with my dad's cancer, I know I have much for which to be thankful.

                Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers going up to my family members and friends. I know they appreciate the easing of the heartache that it caused.
                As luck would have it, I didn't even get to go to visitations, much less funerals. I have had the work week from H@@@ and it just wont quit, saw maybe a total of 4 hours of daylite, and a total of 25 hrs OT as of today, and have to go in tommorrow for an open heart that won't wait until next week. But, the ot is helping me make it, and kept my son in school this year.
