    Food Question!!

Does anyone have any ideas for ways to top the Yoplait Light Yogurts? I really like the granola toppings that come with the parfaits at mcd's, but can't find a recipe that has the plain granola like this.

I like the yogurt and is a healthy snack for the kids, but it does get boring and would love some ideas. The flavors that we mainly eat is plain strawberry, orange creme, vanilla, key lime, lemon pie and white chocolate strawberry.

Anyone with any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't eat yoplait but I buy our Publix lowfat yogurt and put my own Grapenuts on top of it at work for breakfast. I think any type of breakfast cereal on top that makes a crunch noise would be fun for kids...

You should be able to find granola in the cereal isle.

You might find some different combos in the Organics section of the grocery. Or you can try a health food store. I've seen unique Granola combos in both places. Different than the mass market stuff sold in the cereal aisle.

Thanks so much! I really want a plain, without nuts, granola. Similar to the little bags that come in the Quaker Oatmeal Crunch but tastes better like what is at McD's....I just don't want the sunflower, peanuts and whatever else is thrown in. I have looked at recipes and thought I would make my own, but every one that I could find called for sunflowers or some sort of nuts.

I think that I will go with the Grape-Nuts and just enjoy that.

Has anyone tried to freeze this brand? Mom tried the Dan Fit and Light (not sure if this is the correct name?) that is made from splenda and it was not very appetizing when it came out of the freezer!

I have heard of it being done, but must be different results for different brands. Was going to try this one until I saw what happened to the Dannon~ICK!!
