    Laughs

I have to laugh sometimes at the pompous arrogance of some folks. A co-worker who has constantly identified himself over the years as a "Primerica Financial Counselor" is my subject. The fellow is a disgruntled, very intelligent, mad at the world, divorcing presently, horribly self centered (literally "I wouldn't get so mad if she just obeyed"), blaming minorities for his lack of success though he does crossword puzzles all the time at work... coworker.

Today we were discussing the Florida Retirement System which is rated the top retiremnent system in the nation according to my understanding and the grand Poobah's who dole out retirement system ratings, it is in the literature and yes they do have at last count $130,000,000,000 in assets and Enron drained them for less than 1%. It is also the system for everyone from Gov. Bush on down, so it is well tended and very healthy.

Well, to get to the story it was just funny that today he asked if i was still in the regular option opposed to the investment option (where you have more control). I explained that i have stayed in the regular plan and will go into DROP in a couple of years. He then berated, belittled and whatever all of us fools who are opting to stay in. Now, the funny part of the story is that we all work together and because of near zerop turnover know alot about each other and his most recent address after wearing out his welcome with a co-worker was "F150" NW **** Avenue Miami Florida, it just made all of us laugh. I ain't no financial counselor... but i don't pretend to be one either!

I'm missing something important when I read that. Maybe I'm just tired but...I don't get it. I feel dumb now...

The "Dude" was living in his Ford F150 while being "YOUR Primerica Financial Counselor" (that's his voicemail quote).

He has been living with co-workers and finally wore out his welcome with everyone. The laugh is that he still considers himself a "Financial Expert" and is oblivious to the fact that we all know his true situation. I guess it's more like one of those "ya gotta be there things"

I missed the part about him living in his ford. What a moron to think he's really fooling everyone.

I've known several people like that and most days they amuse me. On my low hormone days, they annoy the heck out of me!

Yes, our world is made of various types of people:

            The users
            The used
The users that say they are not users, but never have money, cigs, etc...

            The helpers,
Those that help themselves to what others have
            The helpers that help others

            Those that pay their way
Those that want others to pay their way
Those that pay their way and the way of others

            The very rich
            Those that know their rich
Those that "share" their riches in life with the needy
Those that "THINK" and "ACT" rich

            Those that are poor
Those that are poor and no-one every really knows it
Those that are poor and will give someone else what they have to share

Out of a lot of the people I have met in my lifetime 50+ years.........

MANY - If I could buy them for what I "think" their worth, and sell them for what they "think" their worth......................I could have retired wealthy - many years ago.............

We are ALL in this world together!
We ALL have our problems, OUR issues, that affect ALL our lives every day....

IT'S SO SAD, THAT OUR WORLD CANNOT LIVE IN PEACE AND HARMONY, and ALL OF US work towards a good peacefull life FOR ALL OF US........ treat each other with respect and honesty, and be less judgemental.

Something to think about during the holidays..........
