anybody have any strange habits?

this is kind of strange but i dont like to get my feet dirty.every night before i go to bed i have to wash my feet or ill toss and turn all night.i know im a weirdo.i think i also have a little OCD.like i cant leave the house unless the beds are made and the dishes are done.strange stuff like that.

it seems you also have a another strange habit.you dont capitalize letters at the beginning of your sentences.you also dont use the space bar on your keyboard before starting another sentence.

Hmmm..maybe some "Quirky" behavior...

rather than strange, and the older and more educated I've become, my "quirks" are now tolerated as "eccentric"....

Such as zoning out and focusing on my reading, etc, and not even being aware someone is talking to me until they start giggling about the smiley face they drew on my arm....putting my coffee cup into the fridge instead of the microwave...finding my missing sunglasses in the freezer...

At 60 I'm not ready to own up to senior moments just yet...prefer the "eccentric" professor routine, thank you.

One of my quirks is that I can't stand my floors being dirty! There can be dust on the furniture, but I hate dirty floors!

And I REALLY can't stand for anyone to walk behind me--EVER!! I worked for years on an admissions unit in a psychiatric facility and I just learned to be careful.

Cannot sit with my back to a door........... (comes from an experience when I was young)...... unnerves me.....

Hate dirty dishes in the sink...... even a coffee cup!

Have a roommate worse then me, lol..... she can't stand a dirty ashtray....

Can't stand people standing CLOSE to me in line at a checkout.....that just TOTALLY un-nerves me....LOL~ I like my SPACE!!!!!!
Or going down the isle's at Wally World (Wal-Mart) and being able to "smell people's dirty hair" ......oh.....good grief that is gross....I am a stylist~ so I guess that's where that comes from.....

Thanks CAB 44! Thats really nice of you! You made my night. It gets worse though. All my kitchen chairs have to be in perfect line with the table and floor. I cant leave the house untill I fluff all the pillows on the couch and they are perfectly straight. I change my sheets three times a week or I cant sleep. I have to take a shower every night before bed no matter what time it is. I have to pick up after the kids every night,I cant let it go untill the morning. The lamps on my end tables have to be centered perfectly on the table and the shades have to be straight.I vacuum at least three or four times a week. Believe it or not im alot better then I use to be! So now what do you think? Pretty freaky huh?

Nah~ We all have our "stuff we like to do/can't leave" ... whatever~
I think it's more of just a ritual~ personality....
Usually having kids around changes us, it did me...I decided some things weren't worth the hassel...it was only making ME miserable! So I try to over-look things a little more~ but you know....it's just whatever makes you happy....if you do it, and it pleases you~ then by all means!!!!!!
Now, on the other hand....if you're exhausted by the time you get into bed then you might consider what battles are worth the effort....
I have a quirk about the garage door being closed before I go to bed...will check it a hundred times.....I don't trust anyone else's "yep, Mom....it is closed"...I have to look for myself...then , it's hard to trust myself with that one...LOL~ oh well....can't beat 'em ... join 'em !!!!!!!!!

I love it CATCHMEIFYOUCAN! You guys crack me up! I cant let my hand or my leg dangle off the bed because im afraid of something under the bed. I also always have to have some kind of covers even in the summer. It makes me feel safer. I have seen one to many horror movies in my day! I also leave the bathroom light on if my husband is doing a midnight shift at his job!

Won't and can't eat at "Waffle House". Floors and leather sofa must be cleaned daily. Wear latex gloves all day at work. dregs are on trains and buses, BAAAAD if you knew what i know having been in Transit for 24 years. Won't use issued latex, buy my own medical brand by the case.

That is way too funny, I leave the bathroom light on myself, my apt is a studio apt like its one room but i got to have the light on, especially if im by myself. i grew up scared of the dark - its not as worst now that im older, but i still think of things! i too have to leave the covers/sheets on - even in the summer, its great protection against whats out there !
