Hello, Im 35, female, married for 9 years, 4 children. 2 of those children aged 11(almost12) and 10 are "A" honor roll students. Both are taking accelerated classes. My son, who is 11, is a football player. My daughter, who is 10, is a soccer player. My youngest daughter who is 6 is in 1st grade and doing excellent. I was a little worried as she seemed to be struggling in Kindergarten, she had just turned 5 when she started, but this year she is doing excellent. My youngest son is 2, almost 3. He can count to 15, knows his alphabet, most of his shapes all of his colors, can count to 5 in Spanish, knows most of the days of the week, and is excellent with scissors. I used to work full time away from home but it all just got to hectic. I decided to find something to do from home so that I could get rid of a little stress. I now do childcare and love it. I would like to go back to school for massage therapy in a couple of years and then when my youngest starts school go back into the work force, at least part time. 1 more thing about myself, I love to brag about my kids. I forgot to say that my 6 year old is a cheerleader and that my oldest son plays the flute. He will be trying out for the drums next year for school(he wasnt allowed this year(?)

              I'm one of your MODS...........

Single, 58, female, no children, who has been a "working stiff" for 43 years now......

Have two "girls" - the dogs, who are my best companions and buddies. Two huge fantail goldfish (Bonnie & Clyde) and a scavenger named Fred.....

Am the neighborhood "Momma Dee" (grandma/mother image) and my home is the gathering place for all the cookouts, front porch evening sittings, and parties for the neighbors and office functions.

Have two roommates at the present time (extra income) a woman 48, and a man 32. The woman has been with me 3 years and the guy 2 years.......
Their being there allows me extra income without working the 2nd job like I always have before (makes it nice - getting too old to work so hard on two jobs). And we all seem to get along GREAT......... course I'm pretty "cool" about a lot of things!!! Think YOUNG........act YOUNG!!!!

Date occassionally, nothing serious right now...... some people are not the "marrying kind"...... and some are "better off not married"!!!

I am even tempered, level headed, enjoy living, and use a lot of common sense in my directions in life. Make my decision wisely, weigh the pros and cons of everything. Make a mistake - I live with it!! Treat others as I would want to be treated, but I can also be your "worst nightmare" as an enemy!!
My circle of friends ages range from 19 to 60....... I seem to fit in with all of them..... They say I'm " ".......

Now that you know so much about me - HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!!

              Minny
              Minny

I'm a married lady (18 years) and have two teenagers, a boy age 16 and a girl age 14. They are both very active in our church youth group and youth choir. Like my husband they are fantastic singers. I play the piano, love to cook and entertain, and live for football season. My son loves cars and girls, but is spending his time now going to school, working, and tinkering with an old car. He is doing well in karate (won a tournament a couple of weeks ago) and is in theatre. My daughter will need to have a telephone surgically removed very soon and is the typical young teenage girl, likes boys, but is shy, likes having her friends over to giggle and gossip. She is a dancin' fool!

No, I'm not proud of my kids either I also have several more "adopted" children and am most comfortable when my house is packed with kids eating pizzas.

It's all about baseball in our house. My son plays from April to October on a competitive team and has aspirations of making it to the bigs one day. He also plays on a basketball team in the winter. AND...he is in the gifted program at school.

I’m one of your Mods as well.

I am a 34 year old male, married….just celebrated my 10 year anniversary as most of you know…..I have 2 children, both boys…..oldest is 8 years old and my youngest is 2 years old. I am a Mechanical Engineer and work with automated machinery (filling and capping mainly).

My life’s passion is playing drums. I’ve been playing for 22 years now. If any of you have read the “What Is Your Hobby” thread, you can read my little story. I also play the bass guitar, hence, my Forum username. I started playing the bass guitar a little over 2 years ago and I kinda like it, but not as much as playing those drums. I’ve played in a band……hair metal from the 80’s…….but it was nothing serious. We thought we were hot sh!t, but we didn’t have a clue…..LOL!

I can't forget to mention that my other passion is my wife. Whew, can’t forget that, in case she reads this…..LOL!

                          But seriously………..

I am very easy going and outgoing as well. I can sit down and have a conversation with anyone about anything. I do like to talk. I like to think I’m pretty level-headed, but I can get riled up sometimes over stupid, little things.

Oh shoot, I almost forgot, one of my other favorite things is being part of this forum. I enjoy coming here and talking with all of you and helping others in need. I like getting into a good debate, so long as I know what I’m talking about. Otherwise, I’ll sit quietly and listen and not say too much.

Hello everyone! It is a pleasure to know all of you.
