Very sad you live a life doing all you should then in 4 years it all implodes. But grateful to be alive !

Yup, a bankruptcy of any sort certainly beats being on the wrong side of the grass. After the recession our financial and personal world went south in a slow-motion train wreck; in 2013 my wife and I separated and lost our house, she filed for Chapter 7 in 2014 and I filed a Chapter 13 in 2015. Our world stabilized, we got back together, and two weeks ago we closed on a new home. Hang in there, bankruptcy is far from the end of the world.Last edited by shipo; 06-02-2024, 08:20 AM.Chapter 13 (not 100%):- Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank cum Bank of Southern California
