    Paying credit cards

I am mtg with a lawyer next week to discuss chapter 7. I am not late on any bills but will be soon. Should stop paying given I’ll be filing.

Nearly everyone will say to stop paying if you're about to file. Of course that's up to you. Some people want to keep current all the way until they file. Others know that they are just throwing money away.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

Any advice provided is not legal advice, but simply the musings of a fellow bankrupt.

Yes I’d love to stay current but I have to pay the attorney so I feel like I’m throwing it aesy

Most people pay their attorney by stop paying their creditors.

And every attorney I talked with before my bankruptcy told me to stop paying my bills NOW!
          Chapter 13 (not 100%):
          • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank cum Bank of Southern California
          • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
          • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
          • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
          • 60th Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
          • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
          • Closed: 23-Jun-2020
