Hi! I filed Chapter 13 in October and it was finally confirmed last month. It took longer because the Trustee wasn't satisfied with my payment plan. She ended up approving it as is as long as I don't ask for it to be reduced later. I filed using an attorney. I had over $50k in debt and just discovered the NDC website. I found out that less than half of my creditors filed a claim. They should have filed by mid December and didn't. I'm hoping to be in the plan for about two years (give or take).
All in all, the process was emotional but not horrible. I feel a lot better knowing it won't be for 5 years.
