Hey all. Recently filed chapter 13. All this is new to me. Googling post BK groups brought me here. To my surprise I got an email from credit karma today that my credit score went up 169 points to 658. Guess things are looking positive. Should I get a secured card now to start rebuilding? Not sure what I should do next.

I think that a secured card is a good idea. I had one during my Chapter 13.
You may want to reach out to shipo and ask about how to build credit during/after a Chapter 13. There are some good ideas.

Regarding a secured credit card; if your Trustee allows it, then I cannot recommend getting one strong enough.Chapter 13 (not 100%):- Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank cum Bank of Southern California
