Hi! I just received my Federal Return, I received a discharge letter......What should I do? Do I owe the Trustee the whole amount? My care broke down and I need the return to get it fixed so I can work. Will I get into trouble if I fix my car with the return?

I'm assuming this was a Chapter 7. Unless the Trustee demanded turnover of any refund, the refund would have been excluded using an exemption to protect some or all of the refund. Did you file with an attorney?Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
