Debt Collectors Ask to Be Paid a Little Respect

If you will read and study up the ACA position, they are trying to get this legislation passed for 3rd party CA, NOT DEBT BUYERS. 99% of the problems in debt collections come from the junk debt buyers. The ACA is also trying to change its bylaws to get the JDB agencies in their organization changed from a member status to a creditor status.

There are some good things and bad things for both sides in this. It's not all bad for either side.
