Tom really had no business buying sports teams (he also owns the Stars and a soccer team). The Rangers had to give up some good players because they couldn't afford to pay them. He has tried to sell the Stars in the past with no luck. Now he claims that with the sale of the Rangers and the Stars he will lose something like $100 million, but should make it back with the sale of the soccer team. It is really hard to feel sorry for someone with that kind of money.
