Millions of Unemployed Face Years Without Jobs

Things are really getting depressing. I had my 341 Meeting Friday. It went well.
Sadly, my mother had her house paid for, made $91,000 before taxes in her last year before retirement, and 2 years later has a mortgage on her house that was paid for, has $70,000 in credit card bills, has a boyfriend that is married (mother is a widow) and I could go on and on.
The University of Georgia is talking about cutting 1500 jobs.
We are becoming a society of the have and have nots with the middle class being obliterated, in my opinion.
Now I read that gasoline is supposed to go up this summer and The American Spectator has a piece about how bad the economy is.
It's hard to be happy about a good 341 meeting thinking about everything else...

Those folks that have exhausted their benefits aren't counter, even though their still out there looking for work. So the numbers are even worse than the "official' numbers.Filed Joint, No Asset, > $100,000 Unsecured Ch.7 6/7/13 ~~ 341 Meeting 7/15/13 ~~ Discharged 9/16/13 !!
