In every situation, there are people who will take advantage of the situation and/or people. Whether it was during Katrina, with price gouging and the debit-card fiasco, or this current housing crisis... there is always that dubious person or persons.

Sorry this happened to you lsditter, but I'm glad it worked out in the end. I hope you really do have clean title (which the title insurance covers), but I mean I don't want you to have any problems at all!
