Updated/NEW foms?

Hi everybody,

just want to be sure. im preparing the means test for the petition (chapter 7). i checked bankruptcy forms today and it seems that there is a change/update on the means test?

is the means the only form that has been updated?

Neolla, as far as the federal forms go, yes this is correct. Most changed on December 1, 2007, but as you noted, Form 22 and all its variations changed on January 1, 2008. As far as I know, there are no further changes scheduled for federal forms anytime soon.

Be careful, though, if you're going pro se: many courts have additional LOCAL forms that need to be included with your filing as well. If you look up the website for your district, any add'l forms you need should be there. Don't file before you've studied the local court's rules and requirements. Good luck!!!
