hi, is it possible to do a plan in ch 13 even if you are unemployed? the reason i ask is that i'd like to protect maybe 5000 or so in non-exempt assets. i understand that a 13 can be approved as long as the unsecured creditors get at least what they'd get in a 7. so i wonder if i can write a plan that pays say $100 over the non-exempt amount, then just pay that amount in a lump sum that i would withdraw from an IRA.
