    Another NFCU Repo question

We have a vehicle that we're surrendering. We were discharged about a month ago and haven't heard from NFCU.
I called too late to speak to the bk dept but was told by who I talked to that she was fairly certain that they'd contact me prior to getting the car. That they'd need to verify my address, color of the car, etc.
Of course I would imagine that they'd already have that info and could verify it when they come and get the car, but who am I?
Anyone have any personal experience with this?
I know I could drop off at a branch, but at the same time, trying to avoid driving the clunker we bought for as long as possible especially with the heat, etc.
I did see in another thread that NFCU simply showed up but if there are other experiences I'd like to hear them.
    Thanks!

In my case they called first.

A couple days after I received my discharge papers in the mail, Navy Federal called and said that since I had made no payments and I did not reaffirm the vehicle they were coming to pick it up and what would be a good time.

So, they made a appointment to pick it up in a week. First time they were three hours late, and I went somewhere before they came to pick it up.

Next appointment, they were right on time and picked up the vehicle without incident. The two men picking up the vehicle were in their 60's and 70's and they were very nice about it.

Also, note I did talk to them about reaffirming during my Chapter 7, but changed my mind because it was cross collateralized with my credit card debt.

Mmm, a month seems like a long time. Maybe they don't want your car?

Seems like most of you have had them show up relatively fast after a discharge. I know that now that I'm inquiring, it's probably going to happen tomorrow lol!
We haven't made a payment for probably 8 months or so. This has got to be a rare situation.
