    Santander and BK 7

I filed BK 7 on June 28 my 341 meetings is 7/29. I currently have a car loan with Santander. Once my bk was filed they immediately deleted my account of the credit bureaus, which I found odd. I was not planning on reaffirming this debt. I am current and I was going to continue to make payments on it. But I'm a little nervous that they may not care if I'm current and come repo the car anyway. Does anyone know what I can expect from this company? And could you please explain this ride through option? Is there a way to garantee they won't repo without a reaffirmation? My State is NH.

    Thanks!

Nobody reaffirms. However you will have to figure out how to make payments without getting billed from them anymore.
filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!

Thank you for your reply. I've been reading everything I possibly can find on here and the internet. I know I'm beating this to death and not all situations are the same for everyone. But here are my concerns. Santander is subprime lender. I'm going to assume they are pretty aggressive about delinquent accounts. We just had our 341 meeting last Thursday. It went great and I see on pacer that the trustee has noted no distributions - which I assume means there is nothing they are questioning. So unless a creditor comes along I expect we will get a discharge without any trouble. I have been current with my loan with Santander and a loan with GMAC. Although our petition noted that we would keep both cars I had no intentions of signing any sort of agreements. We want to keep the GM but I'm thinking I will let the Santander loan go. BUT I'm very concerns about them. I was going to keep making payments until which time I was ready to purchase another car. But I'm afraid that they will come take it regardless (I read someone else s post that had that experience - and she did reaffirm!) So now I'm thinking of stopping the payments save the money and get another car after discharge. But I'm afraid they will come take before discharge. And I'm also hearing the GMAC can be hard on not reaffirming a lease???? Has anyone done a ride through on a GMAC lease? And is there any other experiences with Santander??? Also, most importantly can I hold off until after discharge to reaffirm with GMAC? I'm afraid it will make it tougher to get a new loan if I'm showing a open car loan. Sorry for the zillion questions. Its just nerve racking. I want to do the right think. I probably have no right be protect myself from being screwed where I just "screwed" a lot of creditors. But its imperative that I have transportation for work and I really don't need the repo guy showing up at my house and taking my car. But I don't want to reaffirm to car loans just because I'm paranoid either! HELP:/ Thank you!!!

I have had no issues with Santander. They are pretty cool.
