Do you have to add a vehicle??

I have a question for a friend of mine...he is planning on filing Chapter 7 Pro Se. He has a 2003 vehicle and is current on all payments and does not want to include this in his bankruptcy. Does he have to include it? I don't know the answer because when I filed mine my vehicle was completely paid off. Thanks for any help =)

All debts must be included in the BK filing. Your friend can reaffirm the loan and keep the vehicle, but it can not be just left off the paperwork.
