I'll keep this short...my mom helped me get a bike back in 06. Sometime in early 08 she filed bankruptcy. I did t know about to till she had already filed. The bike was on a kawi card with low interest the first 2 years. So my wife talked to my moms lawyer and he said we could pay him interest free for the bike. We agrees but want receipts and payment book. Sent one payment but got nothing back. Called him and he forgot to send them. Made another payment and still nothing. We haven't made a payment in 2 yrs and haven't heard anything from anyone about the bike. So I'm wanting to sell it or trade it for a 4 wheeler but no title is keeping me from this. Called the DMV and they showed hsbc was holding title waiting on payment. I've had the bike registered and fully insured from day one also. Not like I'm hiding it. How can I go about getting a title? What can I do with the bike? I'm in Arkansas btw. I've read other threads but still am not sure. Thanks for the help and advice ahead of time!!
