Acquiring an asset after 341 meeting

Someone wants to give me a car and I'm wondering about the safest timing. My 341 is Oct 21. Isn't there a 30 period after the 341 where they review assets for the last time? Or do I need to wait even longer before getting something registered in my name? Don't want to screw this up.

I need some info on this as well. My attorneys legal assistant said to wait until after discharge but sounds kind of excessive to me unless its worth a bundle. I will wait if I need too though.
