is it ok to add my husband on the title?

my husband and i have only 1 veh. it is pd for and worth about 14k.the veh is in my name only and we are not filing a joint ch 7. would it be a red flag if i added his name to the title to divide the amt of equity? i am in mississippi and only allowed 10k total for all assests,veh and personal property. not including 125k for homestead exemption. any help would be appreciated!

Probably would be a problem. Do not make any transfers/changes to title without first getting the ok from your attorney.

Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)
