I was the treasurer for a professional organization (volunteer position) last year. Because of this my name was on the account as the treasurer so I could write checks for the organization. I am no longer the treasurer and had my name removed from the acct. within the last year so that the new treasurer could be added. Do I need to include this on the Statement of Financial affairs under closed financial accounts?

In my opinion, I say no. That account was never yours to begin with. You were listed on it as the Treasurer at the behest of the owner of the account. You functioned as an 'Authorized Agent'. I would worry no more about this.

Yes, I would say no, as well... it wasn't yours and you are no longer involved with it anyway, nor is it a closed account.Comment
