I just wanted to extend my gratitude to everyone who makes this forum a helpful and supportive place!
Filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy was a scary time for me. I chose to file pro-se because I could not afford an attorney and my case was fairly straightforward. I spent hours, days, and weeks reading and doing research and the paperwork was nearly overwhelming. I even pulled an all-nighter finishing paperwork that needed to be submitted the next day.
When I had questions, concerns, or fears, I came here for answers and moral support. I didn't post often but I gained so much by reading everyone's questions and responses.
My discharge was actually a couple of months ago, in November. I have felt a sense of relief and peace. I look forward to working toward short and long term financial goals - long term, I look forward to buying a home. I know I can accomplish this.
