I have a couple of comments. Medical and dental, food and clothing all seem low. The standards allow $60 per person under 60 years old. Also, a family of five is allowed $1001 a month for food and $190 for clothing.

Remember, schedule J is forward looking. Just because you have been struggling to make ends meet while trying to pay off debt does not mean that your Schedule J needs to reflect that subsistence level of living.

Hopefully others will come along with more comments. The pro se forum doesn't seem to get as much activity as others, but there are some very helpful members who have successfully filed pro-se and will check the forum eventually. There are also members like me who didn't file pro-se, but are still able to provide some insight based on our own experiences and what we have read here.

I almost forgot: Welcome to BKForum!

thank you! so i can go with a higher standard than the actual income I receive? all our income is social security and I see no way out in the immediate future to have a job and 3 teen boys in home is killing me in all aspects LOL
I did notice a few post in other places that state Social Security can't be garnished...ours is being garnished as we let our house go thru foreclosure and we had a government backed loan thru USDA-RHS that has turned into a nightmare.
