    Crediitor Addresses (Schedule F) for Credit Card Companies

    I am filing in about 2 weeks and have a question about creditor addresses. I have 2 Amex cards (gold & blue), 1 Chase (visa) and 2 Citibank (MC and visa) - all personal accounts. I have received written correspondence from Amex, Chase and one of the Citibank accounts. (Standard, please call us to arrange payment or we will be reporting you to the credit bureaus letters). Am I correct to assume that listing the company addresses on these letters is sufficient for Schedule F, and that any other addresses I have can go on the mailing matrix?

    In reality, the only address I'm confused about is the Citibank Visa, as the addresses for the others are consistent on statements and credit reports. But the Citi Visa has a zillion variations, although the last statement lists Citibank N.A. in South Dakota as the current address for all Citi card products. I am so confused.

    Does anyone have the correct bankruptcy notification addresses for these companies? I assume most filers are bankrupting against one, if not all of these companies. I am in California, Central District. Can anyone post the addresses used on Schedule F, or tell me the best way to find out what the correct address is?

    Thanks so much for any assistance.

    what is most important when you are filing is that the creditors get properly served notice of your bk.

    if i were in your position, i would call each creditor and get the "proper" mailing addresses for each, as if they are not properly notified it can come back to bite you. just call the citi bank number on the statement...after all they can't see you.

    most of the credit card companies have south dakota or deleware addresses, since the usury laws in those state allow the banks to do things they can't in other state. (like up the interest rates maxes etc.).

    best of luck!

      tobee43: I did try with Citibank and was transferred from one dept to the next attempting to get the bk notification address, and ended up on hold for almost 20 minutes before I was forced to hang up (almost running out of cell phone minutes). I will; however, continue to try. I just thought there might have been standard bk addresses for national companies, or broken down by state, etc., because they sure go out of their way to give different addresses for everything except where to send payment. LOL.

      Thanks.

        crackedmuse if you list every address you have, then you will have done your due diligence - usually there is also an address for correspondence on the statement...list that address, all of the PO Boxes, etc.

              I was always told to list the correspondence address, but not the "send payments to" address.
              Filed: 5/22/07; 341 Hearing: 6/27/07;
              Confirmed: 8/13/07; DISCHARGED 4/17/2012

                Use the address they give you for correspondence. If you can't find it, pull your credit reports and use the addresses listed on there. If that fails, google the name of the company and use their corporate address.
