For anyone filing married without spouse I thought I would post how my 341 went today...
Trustee: Do you have your paystubs?
Me: I am unemployed
Trustee: When was the last time you worked?
Me: About 7 years ago, I am a stay at home mom.
Trustee: You're married?
Me: Yes
T: Why isn't your husband filing?
Me: All the debt is in my name
T: Did you use any of these credit cards to buy household items?
Me: I haven't used those cards in 2 years
T: That's not what I asked you
Me: I probably bought some household items with them.
T: Who owns the house that you live in?
Me: My husband
T:
T: ( He asked some questions about the purchase price of the home and the down payment.
T: Does your husband own a car?
Me: Yes
T: What kind?
Me: (Gave him the make and model)
T: Does he own any more cars?
Me: Yes an old car that we can't drive very far.
T: Do you have your last years income taxes?
Me: Yes.. gave him the copy
He studied it very well.
T: Have you owned any real estate property in the last 3 years?
Me: Yes
T: What happened to that property?
Me: Sold it
T: Did you make any money on it?
Me: Yes
T: What happened to that money?
Me: Paid bills with it
T: What was done with the check that you received from the title company?
Me: It was deposited into a bank account
T: I want to see proof that bills were paid with it.
Me: Okay
Then he just asked me the standard questions..
