help! dont know if and where i need to list profit sharing/ retirement $

me and my husband are filing a 7 pro se. he received profit sharing/retirment $ from a old job on april 30, 2010. we want to file mid november 2010. does this money need to be listed since it will be over 6 months ago? and if so where should i list it? it was used for a car. also do i need to list my month to month apt lease on schedule g? i looked around and cant seem to find the answer.

    Hi shan31,

    Welcome to the forum.

I am assuming you are saying your husband received a distribution from a qualified plan and used that money to purchase a vehicle. Besides the tax implications of cashing out such type of accounts, as long as it is outside the 6 month lookback window for means testing purposes, the answer is no, it does not need to be listed.

As far as your lease, if you are current on your lease I would not list it at all. Please read this thread for more details on the reasoning.

If you still want to list it after this, then yes, Schedule G, and Statement of Intention, Part B. Beware that some districts (mine for example) will require any party mentioned on the schedules and SOI to be included in the creditor's matrix (reasoning being they are entitled to notice).
