    Disharged

Discharged 5 months to the day after my Filing.

I had some state taxes that i included in the filing, Do assume that those were taken care of as well, or will they send me notice?

Never "assume" that taxes are discharged. You should take appropriate action.

Generally speaking, no. The mere "including" or "scheduling" taxes in a bankruptcy petition does not make them mysteriously disappear with the other general unsecured debt. Taxes are not discharged unless they meet the 3 year, 2 year and 240 day requirement, and you filed a Complaint to Determine Dischargeability. (You may be able to discharge the taxes falling within the 3/2/240 guideline without filing a complaint, but you may have trouble later trying to argue that they were discharged. That's why it's easier just to do the Complaint and be done with it.)
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
