Sched J Line 17 other -- how to list expenses

Since Sched J does not include Housekeeping supplies and personal care should I lump them in line 17?

    Example:

    Personal care 55
    Housekeeping 68
    Misc...(Pet food misc expenses) 196

Should I put Personal care, housekeeping supplies, Misc $319?

Also I have an involuntary 401k (union pension) which is only 112.50 a month should I list it under payroll deductions on line 4d? of Sched I?

Also how should I cannot get a yearly breakdown on over time should I make a very good guess and break it down on the ytd income and note it?

We put our personal care, lawn care under 17-Other and broke down an itemized schedule as an attachment. By housekeeping, do you mean home maintenance? If yes, then use line 3, if no use 17-Other. Pet food use 17-Other.
Your involuntary 401K deduction should be listed under line 4d and specify that it's union mandated, but not union dues.

I do not understand your last question.

Thanks for the reply, I my overtime is only listed per payperiod, there is not an an absolute way to calculate my overtime since it varies by the time and day of the week so I guess anything over base would be overtime. I was told that it does not really matter unless the issue come up that I will be getting much more overtime or much less. I estimate that it should be the same so I lumped in with gross income.

I meant housekeeping supplies as general cleaning goods, equipment ect. My home maintenance figure is trash, lawn and other items that I am required to do by terms of my lease.

Thanks again for your responses you are always quick to reply and I appreciate that.

On your income, if it will stay relatively unchanged, we did not segregate overtime from monthly income for my wife as the figure was relatively small and flat.

Trash should be under utilities-other. Lawn care we listed under 17-Other. Home maintenance (line 3), as explained by our attorney, should really mean things you have to do like lightbulbs, gutter cleaning, etc, that are amounts small enough to be passed on to you as a renter and not deducted against your monthly rent. We estimated ours at 50/month.

As far as your Schedule J scrubbing, I don't know the cost of living in Michigan, but I think your utilities expenses look low, hopefully your transportation expenses include gas and public (two separate categories) if you use both, as well as automobile maintenance and repairs. What about health insurance? What about out of pocket medical (for example, co-pays or OTC stuff?) I can keep going but I think you need to revisit your expenses and be sure to include everything you can think of to get a realistic picture.

          Oh yeah, and you're welcome!!
