Well. Yes actually I am a little bit superstitious, which is why peacock feathers were freaking me out on Sunday, as well as Mercury (or one of those pesky obscure planets...) went retrograde again - - but then there were toads, and dragon flies - - and get - - this grasshoppers - - crossing my path, so I was charmed. Peacock feathers on the actual peacock on the farm are good luck, but peacock feathers in the house are bad luck.

Do you believe all of that?

Anyway. To and from. Kansas. Which means I can't say to my dogs, "I guess we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto." Because, well, first off, none of my dogs are named Toto. Secondly we are actually in Kansas, so it would be a lie. It's bad form to lie to the dogs, you know.

So. Here we are, there we be, and I've just checked PACER, and it looks like nothing was new was filed with the court since I left Texas. Today was the 35 day suspense on the Trustee's Recommendation Concerning Claims. And no responses to any of my claims objections, suspense date coming up on the 20th.

I'm glad I came up here a few days before work starts. It's a CUTE town, and I want to explore some stuff. And I'll have time to do that.

PS: It was only 500 miles, but somehow I managed to turn that into a 16 hour drive. Well, ok, I almost never drive the interstate, because I am convinced that is no way to see the country. I like to stop and mom & pop places and mingle with the folks. Plus, I stop every couple of hours to let the dogs stretch. Found the ONLY shade tree in Oklahoma to park under and take a nap in the middle of the afternoon. It was a great trip, but even great trips stress me out. I worry about a lot of stuff a lot.

Alrighty then. So far so good. The judge entered the order approving the Trustee's Recommendation Concerning Claims, and that means no distribution to the IRS. hehehe. Also pending further orders concerning objections to claims and modification of my plan. So everything seems to be running smoothly right along. Maybe I can breathe over the weekend, unless it is too hot to breathe. I guess I brought extreme heat advisories with me. Just thankfully, it was not all that, relatively, hot for the trip itself!

Thanks! Oh yeah, today is 21 day suspense on two more claims objections I filed and - so far - not seeing anything in response from either one of them either! :-)

I have found that many of the creditors just won't respond to claims objections. In the end, it could cost them too much money to argue about it.

Well one of them, I didn't figure they would even know how to respond to it. The original claim was filled out by someone in their billing department. I spoke to her on the phone once and realized immediately that she wasn't the sharpest tack on the board. The other, I really thought they would respond.

Not that it matters in my case, that is was converted to a Chapter 7, but when I was a Chapter 13, I had a $13K or so account with American Express that I objected to. They never responded. Then they sold the debt to one of the JDBs that handle bankruptcy debt. I'm pretty sure it was eCast Settlement.

Getting annoyed. My claims objections were out of suspense on the 20th and here it is the 25th and nothing signed by the judge YET. I wonder if he is waiting on those for my motion to modify to come out of suspense on the 30th? Would he do that?

I can't divine or attempt to even know the operation of the mind of your judge.
