    My Situation......

I'm currently on unemployment (less than $700/month) and in a week I will officially have federal student loans in my name. In a month I have a court date for a settlement conference where I am being sued by a collection agency (reason I began lookin into BK).

Part of my financial aid includes some grants. My grants combined with my federal loans leave me paying ~$200 out-of-pocket, so I wont have ay assets coming via financial aid. I'll have the loans on my schedule F, but should the Grants go anywhere? if so where?

I met with an attorney, but I cannot afford to pay one, but he said he thought my case looked like a non-asset case from what I told him. I don't own much other than my car worth ~$2k, everything else is clothes, hand-full of cd's & dvd's......

Also, my parents will be assisting in my living expenses once I begin attending college. It will likely be rent more so than anything. Does this need to mentioned in terms of my bankruptcy?

I have a structured settlement, how might that fit in?

My credit is terrible and I need to move into a place with some fellow students, if my name is required to be on the lease, should I make sure it is done before I file for BK? or will it really matter?

Sorry, I know thats a lot of crap and in some instances you wont to give what could be deemed legal advice, but any assistance you have is much appreciated!

found some info on my structured settlement, but not sure how much I should list it at though, since it doesn't pay every year and doesn't pay the same every year.....total expected?.....it would put it in the 60-70k range for toal..............??
