Our 341 meeting is coming up on Monday. A bit nervous here...
I hope hubbys fl license does not cause an issue as we are
in Texas.....
About 12 days before the meet we went downtown to pay the
last installment and turn in paperwork trustee wanted....
I followed directions from my courts website and submitted
all as asked...copies of schedules, means test, financial
statement, certificate of counseling, 2 months pay advices
and bank statements plus tax returns. When I tried to
turn that in to the clerk he looked at me like I was from
outer space and I had to explain it twice just to be told
I better take it straight to the trustee. (I had been told
I could turn it in there)....So we rushed to the trustee's
building, thank goodnes they were still open and we
turned it in with a secretary. I remember I had a questionnaire
and asked if that needed to be turned in then or at the
creditors meeting, she said there so I took 10 minutes and
filled it out and turned all in. Now at the court house when
I paid, the clerk gave me the pacer report I guess. I see they
document everthing filed and mailed. I see that Chrysler's
attorney has requested to show up at the meeting.... I wonder
why...I thought we had to have a reaffirmation hearing and
I thought he might be there. Anyway we received from
Chrysler the reaffirmation paperwork and will take it to
the meeting just in case he wants it there.
What else....oh yes a few days ago we received a letter
from the trustee advising of all the paperwork needed
and there I saw they actually wanted 3 months of bank
statements ( I had only turned in 2).... So I emailed the
remaining ones and asked for a confirmation email which
I got promptly . I think this is all so far. We have for a
while been receiving car dealership offers specially designed
for chapter 7 cases like us, sure didn't take them long.
I hope for am uneventful meet on Monday, wish us luck!!
