I Know this is an old thread but I wanted to update my situation... I should have started working on my Ch.7 since I last posted but life has been a whirlwind.
Short version is 2 weeks after this last posting, I up and moved to Texas. Thank God for the most lovable woman in the world who has provided for me in these tough times.
Her name is on all leases and bills (but does not live with me) due to credit and lack of funds. I have still not been able to find a job since the move in August.
I plan to goto the local libraries in the area and pick up a copy of the newest Nola Bankruptcy 7 Book (v16) and a copy of Nola Represent yourself in court which also has bankruptcy info.

I'm hopeful to have a job within the next month as some opportunities are popping up..but far from enough to even start being able to pay any of this debt down especially with student loan payments about to start being due.

Okay, I feel as my case is fairly simple but I have some questions.

As stated above, my gf WHO DOES NOT LIVE WITH ME, is the name on the lease with me as an occupant. Her name is on all bills and has paid all of them since I moved here in August.
I only provide this info because of wondering about the schedule and means-test forms. I literally have no income of any kind, have no place to live in my name, and no bills in my name besides a cell phone.
Is there anything I need to have to prove such things, as I feel putting Zero in so many blanks will throw up a huge red flag even when it is honest.

I have no car anymore, as it is now dead due to engine failure, and is 10+ years old with body damage also so very much worthless as a asset.and likely before I submit paperwork
will be gotten rid of or donated to anyone who would take it off my hands. The only asset of any true value I own is laptop valued around $750

My biggest question is concerning my debt. All 4 of my credit cards have been closed and charged-off. Creditors called for a while but I always ignored them..knowing I had no money to pay while in school
and worried of possible saying the wrong thing. No creditors are listed under the collections portion of my credit report from equifax.
Also I know there are other debts that have been turned over to collection agencies such as unpaid school cost from last summer.
But it is not shown on my credit report anywhere.
I believe I might have a unpaid utility bill from a few years back also. But again nothing on the credit report.

Im just confused on what I need to put on my forms and credit matrix. The credit card company that originally had the debt, the creditors who now own it (whom I have no idea that would be).
Also do you list student loans also or not...I do know they can't be discharged but did not know if they are listed and added into the total amount of liabilities.

Last, on the B6 Schedules, do you have to fill out all include them or not..such as Schedule A Real Property which I own none..I just wanted to know if it's needed or not.. If it is I assume the standard "N/A" is all that needs to put on it.

        Thanks.

To scomikey and frogger. 5 years after a discharge you can get federal plus loans for graduate school. After leaving graduate school you can get tax write offs for student loan interest repayments and then after a couple of years the ten years after chapter 7 is over and you can buy a house. If you work in a public service career the college loans will be forgiven after an additional 10 years. I am not sure if this course is in your planning at all.

Best of luck. I filed pro se, also, and found it to be time consuming but easy in the end.
