    Married, filing 7 pro se?

I have over $75k in cc debt, all charged off about 6 months ago, from a failed business. I am married and all debt is in my name - my husband does have debt, but is current and does not want to file. I have gone back and forth about filing - I am unemployed and have been for over a year. DH was unemployed until the end last year. I planned to file the beginning of the year, but ended up out of state for 4 months taking care of elderly mother. This has made our financial situation even worse. I was sued by an OC, tried to settle (don't really have anything), and they have a judgment. I sent some $ to a bankruptcy attorney to file a 7, but don't know when I'll have the remainder. I have requested the $400 back & want to file pro se. Here's the situation.

    - We own a home, are current with mortgage, a little equity, not much. Have 2 cars, both in dh name, one with no equity (financed fully on $18,000 car), and one 15 year old truck.
    - We are on a payment plan for $1800 back taxes.
    - We are late paying balance of property taxes - $1700, and don't know how we will pay that.

    - Called an attorney who said I could do a 7, even tho dh's income is above means, as i am unemployed and expenses are above income. I asked if there were any red flags because of dh income, and she no.
    - NOLO means test qualifies me in part 2 - it asks how much of dh income goes to support me (a question not asked by any attorney, they gave me the impression that I had to use all of his income), even if I use 1/2 of his gross, which is more than what would be the case, I qualify for a 7.

I believe I can do this on my own in regard to research and paperwork. I plan to call another attorney and get a 2nd opinion.

Any red flags or thoughts on me filing pro se? I'd hire an attorney but it could be months and months before I have saved up the money and that just delays me from getting back to work and earning money.

    - I do plan to tell a trustee, if asked, (since my last employment 3 years ago was in a well-paying, professional job), that I plan to be taking care of my elderly mother, and hopefully making some small income from self employment.

Thanks for any help and sorry for being so long.
