Yesterday I fired off an Objection to Claim that I should win hands down. Really. The debt is over 10 years old, and well past the statute of limitations and that is not my only argument. They also violated California state law that there is clear undisputed case law on... this is a no brainer. (Yeah this debt was from way back in the day when I lived in California.)
2 a.m. I had a bad dream that I had made a mistake - - used ONE WRONG WORD - - but one crucial word in my affidavit.
I had read it over about 50,000 times before I mailed it and still missed it. I flew out of bed to check. Thinking. Oh great.... Procedurally how does one correct a typo in an Objection to Claim? lol.
Fortunately it WAS just a bad dream. My affidavit is fine.
Well then I got to thinking. That is a really good question. If you actually had to....How does one correct a typo in an affidavit?
