    Should i be more worried? Is this the calm before the storm?

    I was super worried about my pro se chapter 7. Now for some reason, i havent thought about it at all. I feel like its in automatic pilot and there isn't really much required for me. Will this change after the 341 meeting? Maybe i've lulled myself into a sense of denail about the whole thing. lol

    Once you get to and through your 341 Meeting, you should pretty much know what your case is going to be like. If the UST shows up... that means you have peaked their interest and can enjoy more scrutiny. If the (panel) Trustee doesn't say much and question things, then you're probably good there.

    The key is, get through the 341 meeting without the UST showing up and without the Trustee talking about "assets" and "exemptions".

        UST = United States Trustee.

        They are part of the Office of the United States Trustee (OUST) and are actually the people who administer the entire bankruptcy program. The UST is equivalent to a U.S. Attorney. The Court just helps to be an arbitrator of various matters, contested or not, that come before it, but OUST / UST are really the people who run the process.

        You never want to be on their bad side.

            Basically they are looking to make money. They get a take on any assets seized. Unless you have something they REALLY want odds are this will be a non issue. Basically it will be a waiting game.
