Can i relax a bit once its over? I had a pretty straighforward case. The presumption did not arise on the means test, and i have no valuable assets. all i have is an old crappy car which is exempt and a bunch of household goods. Should i expect big trouble after the 341 meeting, or just wait around for my discharge? thanks

For 95% of the people, the post 341 Meeting atmosphere is just quiet. Nothing really happens. You should now by or at your 341 Meeting if there are issues.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

We had our 341 meeting almost 30 days ago and have heard nothing from anyone since. Trustee filed his report of no distribution the same day we had our 341 so that was good to know. We are really hoping for 30 more days of silence but from what I have heard and read we should be ok I think as you probably are to.

Yeah it sounds like it. i just called the court today ( Im awaiting pacer password) to make sure they got everything and see if anyone has filed motions. She actually said I probably don't need pacer and im pretty much done. then i mentioned "except for the trustee meeting" and she said "oh you havent done that yet?" but then said that it is unlikely anyone would dispute anything. she said they almost never do !!! she said calling a couple times after the creditor's meeting is all that would be needed, and i dont need to worry about spending money on pacer!

Glad to hear you've got such helpful people in the clerk's office. You're lucky. Most of those folks are very helpful - some are not. PACER isn't that expensive (its 8 cents a page) and you may find it helpful if you ever need to print off a copy of something you filed or someone else filed in your case.
Of course, without PACER you won't be tempted to obsessively check your docket sheet every day... Those 16 cent charges add up!4/14/2010 Filed Chp. 7 Pro Se  5/17/2010 341 Hearing :blush2: 5/17/2010 Trustee's Initial Report Filed :yahoo: 6/4/2010 Final Trustee Report of No Distribution :clapping: 8/2/2010 Reaffirmation Hearing (Approved) :clapping: 8/11/2010 Discharged!

PACER is the Status of your case. If it says nothing, then nothing is going on. Just look at the "Date of last filing". If it hasn't changed, then nothing happened.
(Okay, the date may not change and the Trustee or UST may request information. However, case related information (things posted to the Docket) are clearly evident if the date displayed at the top of the Search Screen (Date of last filing) has changed.)Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

when I log onto Pacer I run a query, I put in my case number and usually click on Status or Case Summary. Mine just says IFP and MEANSNO ,,as I understand that's a good flag.
I had my filing fee waived, that's the IFP thing. Last date to file an objection is on the 25th so I hope it will be all over after that. I am anxious to try and rebuild credit.
