Do things go smooth after the 341 meeting?

Had my meeting!

I just wanted to update everyone. I had my meeting today. I was the only one Pro Se. everyone else had a lawyer. it didn't seem to matter since they had to answer the Q themselves, and not their lawyers anyway. I think the trustee just asked me the basic questions he asked everyone else. He didnt say anything about my paperowrk or question me extra or anything. so im assuming this means he was satisified with my answers. Is this correct? At the end he said " the trustee meeting is closed" (like for the recording). so im all good right? my nolo book said i need to check w/ the court in a day or two to make sure he "closed" it with them or the clock wont run?? what do i expect now? Am i pretty much done?

In response to everyone, yeah the clerk was nice THAT time. they were being a pill the majority of the times i called lol. one time i yelled at the lady to let her know that Its not my fault i cant afford an attoreny and i dont need the attitude! lol. I got the evenlope with my pacer password. im a bit afraid of using it they might take the funds from my filing fee then dsimiss my case for not having paid. All thats left now is i owe $149 of the filing fee. if i dont get my summer loans then i wont be able to pay it and the whole thing will be dismissed. ive already compelted my pre discharge counselling. i actually got that out of the way about a month before the 341 meeting LOL talk about Eager. Thanks everyone...

ps. my q is - if the trustee had a problem with my case/paperowrk, he would have said so today right? so im in the clear?

ps i brought all the papers i filed with the court, all my documentation etc.. copy of tax returns etc.. (whichi h ad to send him beforehand) i wound up not needing any of it.

They won't take the money out of your filing fee for using PACER. You can pay by credit card when your balance reaches $10. If you only use it to check your status, and not go surfing cases, you might not have to pay at all. So don't be afraid to use it sparingly.

Did you file your completed bk education certificate with the court? You need to do that.

oh okay, thanks i actually did do my cert. before i even went to the 341! lol all i have to do is pay the $149 left of my installments and hope nobody contests it or the trustee doesnt raise any issues with my meeting today..

Yes it is true... unless fraud was committed.
