    Schedule F Unsecured Creditor Listing

I'm trying to assist my son with his pro se Chapter 7 filing. I have done a search for the information I will ask, but I found no straight forward answers. I guess pro se filing is deliberately made into a mine field...

Some of his unsecured debts have been sold multiple times to different collection agencies. Some collection agencies offer reduced settlement amounts. Some collection agency notices have different addresses.

When the debts are accounted for, are you required to list all of the collection agencies that have sold the debt to other collection agencies?

If "xyz" collection agency sent notices from 2 or more locations, are you required to list each address?

Is it okay to just list the original debt amount from the original creditor before that creditor sold the debt?

It's a lot to ask, I know ..... but it's just a small segment of thsi pro se filing business....

You should just list addresses for everything yo know about a debt. Mark the "duplicates" as such and don't put anything for the value ($0 or unknown). Also, if they are disputed make sure you check the disputed column.

I ran a credit report in order to find my creditors. Even with that, I still had 3 incorrect addresses (from the credit report).

I had a single debt that I listed as "unknown" for the amount and the trustee said at my 341 that was not acceptable and made me amend it to list a dollar amount. So I think I would use $1.00 if the amount was truly unknown. I tried very hard to list the original creditor on all of my debts, and list the various collection agencies as "also notify", so they got included on the mailing matrix.

You mean... the bankruptcy court quirks?

I dare you say that 10 times fast.
