Yeah, see, and I didn't have any creditors objections to contend with at all. I had a couple of issues with the Trustee that I had to address on my exemptions, but they weren't complicated. But I was absolutely amazed to learn that I was the first and only pro se filer to get a Chapter 13 confirmation in my district since BAPCA was inflicted upon us. But what the trustee actually said was I was the first pro se Chapter 13 confirmation "this side of the Trinity", which, I think, encompasses more than this district.
My income is less than median. I didn't even have to sweat the means test. I had one secured debt to cram down and a bunch of medical bills. Some really old debts left over from a long deceased marriage. No credit card debt. I think my case was really about as simple as a Chapter 13 can possibly be.
