    'Interests in Insurance Policies'

Almost done with the schedules. Line 9 of Schedule B asks for "Interests in insurance policies. Name insurance company of each policy and itemize surrender or refund value of each"... huh? Is this speaking of life insurance policies (an obvious) or do they want the amount of current home and auto insurance policies?

All policies that of which you are a beneficiary or that have a cash value. This is usually just life insurance policies.

Thanks, JB. Home & Life Insurance didn't seem that 'interesting', so to speak.

Life Insurance is... if it's a whole life policy. Those may have a cash value today (present value), and the Trustee would be interested in those. If it's term life, you don't need to list it.

Oops, I meant to say home and *auto* insurance wouldn't be of interest.

          Good advice, thank you.
