    Post Credit Counceling Class Test

I took my post test Friday, I filed pro se, Do I send the trustee and court a copy of it?

The rules are different for jurisdictions. Generally you file a Certification of Completion of Financial Management course (Form B23 available at http://bit.ly/9iqY7O ) that certifies you have completed the course. You normally don't file the certificate itself, but you mail it to your trustee after you have filed the certification with the BK Court clerk.

At least that is the rules in Nevada.

I am an attorney, but I am just not your attorney.

Check your district. I also filed pro se. I took my Financial Management course at the same time as the 341, and the Trustee was the one who presented it. He sent me a B23 already filled out, all I had to do was sign it. I filed that and the certificate with the court.

I sent mine by regular mail. But I kept a copy of it just in case it did get lost in the mail. I started out my case being really paranoid and sending everything by certified mail, but that got so expensive so fast! So I have laxed up a bit on the paranoia bit and if it something that can be replaced and I am not under a deadline, I just use regular mail.

You can send them regular mail. Since you are pro se, you should have a PACER account and can check when the court enters the Official Form 23 (B23) on the docket. That's the best proof for me.
              Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
