so hmmm....Would that keeping him up at night be a good thing or a bad thing?
Have gotten a few emails from him today, actually. I think I have a legal and factual basis to start to like him. Beyond that the affiant sayeth not.
God I'm delirious. Pursuant to that I am going to take a nap.

The discrepancy you're running into with the number of days probably results from a change in the Rules of Procedure that went into effect Jan. 1 of '10. All deadlines in the rules were made multiples of 7 days so that deadlines wouldn't fall on the weekend. 10 day deadlines were either shortened to 7 days or lengthened to 14 days; 15 day deadlines were shortened to 14 days -- and so on.Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

It wasn't the number of days that was my real issue at all. The date thing and LBR were actually amended here right on December 1 and December 9. I filed on December 4, so I was fortunate to get all those change notices in flashing red ink on the local court web site.
The first issue was that I still had the OLD December version of - at least that LBR - on my hard drive. I thought I had downloaded all of the amendments, but apparently not.
The second issue was that I thought the days referred to how many days notice the creditors had to receive before the hearing. That is incorrect. The days referred to the number of days between the date of my PLAN amendment and the date of my hearing.
There were not enough days from giving notice of my Plan amendment on 1/8 to the conf hearing on 2/2... EVEN THOUGH I really think I qualified to not change the conf hearing date because of there was no adverse affect on creditors and any effect at all on creditors was "de minimus".
I chose not to argue with the trustee on this point - or even mention it at all - because I have a serious bronchial pneumonia thing going on right now and the delay in the hearing is probably for the greater good of all.

LOL. I'm down here in Miami. Nothing interesting, except I was at the SuperBowl. But, don't tell my Trustee. And no, I didn't buy tickets... but was there. I almost walked out on the field by accident.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
