Ok...I'm off to meet the Wizard...

Not really....I'm off into the wilds of downtown Denver for my 341....in my 'interview' suit and my 'interview' heelsn (I even wrestled myself into some nylons!!! )....armed with my paperwork and a beat up old briefcase that I've been hauling around since the Navy.....

You're trying to look like an attorney?

Best wishes on an uneventful 341 Meeting.

Good luck. I just hate driving and parking in downtown Denver. I took the light rail from Littleton and it drops you off a few blocks away from the court house.

When I was there, I saw some people running out to feed their meters and when they came back in they had to go through the security screening again.

Wow...talk about "much ado about nothing"....Sat down, got sworn in, answered the usual questions...he pawed through my tax returns, bank statements and pay stubs and then handed them back....no real questions except about the X doing Federal time (no child support issue) and some back ground. It was over in 3 minutes.....

Yeah, I took the lightrail too...we must be in the same area Joe....I'm just east of littleton station....

Oh, and it must have been a slow day for them....there were 3 couples there and me.....

I like the boot/jeans look, but as a professional who wears suits alot... I like that "Agent Scully" look too.

I'll admit I look fabulous in my double breasted Ralph Lauren suit (it's the only expensive outfit I own) but where I work....if you wear anything beyond jeans and a t-shirt....they start hounding you asking who you're interviewing with. I had a date one time after work (yeah, that one time...in band camp...)and I actually dressed 'nice'.... and they hounded me all day until I finally told them what was going on.....

It may be minimal, but many forget and have their case dismissed! Don't be a statistic!

                      Congratulations on the no distribution.

I took the class at the trustee's office on the day of my 341 and they filed the paper work for me. I had to send a proposed order for confirmation to the trustee though. It just seems funny to me that I have to tell these god-like creatures in the bk realm what to do...

Yes, it's strange that some Districts require various things to be driven by the Debtor. In Chapter 13s, some Districts require the Debtor to ask for a discharge, after completing their plan!!!
