I filed on 10/27, and had a couple of bills show up that were not included in my filing. They are small amounts (around 200 total). Should I file amended forms with the court or can I just notify these creditors of my filing?

Amend forms?

This question is very dependent on the District you filed in. Since I don't know about every District, you should pay the $26 fee to file the amended Schedules, serve the notice of Bankruptcy on the creditors, and add them to the mailing matrix (which you'll provide the new one to the Clerk). Please see your District specific local procedure for this as they may or may not charge you for adding just 1 or 2 creditors.
The reason I can't tell you whether you really need to update is because there are arguments on both sides as to whether a discharge in a "No Asset" Chapter 7 case discharges all debts that were accrued prior to filing. In some Districts, they won't even let a Debtor re-open a case to update the Schedules to add a credtior, because they consider that useless because the BK Code is very clear on this topic... for "no asset" cases.
However, other Districts have concluded that everything must be in the Schedules, and the creditor having reasonable notice, in order to get discharged.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
