    I FINALLY filed!

After working on all of the paperwork forever, I finally got my Chapter 7 filed yesterday.
After too much running around, I was at the Clerk's Office at 4:15 and done by 4:25.

Also my 341 is now on October 28th, and I think after reading so many posts here I have a good idea of what I will be facing. I have a pretty straight foward bankruptcy so it shouldn't be a problem.

One question though, I know I have a mistake on my schedule C that needs to be fixed, should I do it now and submit it or wait for them to ask?

Schedule C are your exemptions. You need to correct that. You will suffer the cost of $26 to make the correction, but why wait for any trouble at the 341 Meeting.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Congratulations on your first step! I hope you have a smooth ride down the BK trail and a bright, happy future free of worry and debt.

I would file an amendment and fix it too if you already know it needs fixing.

I didn't realize I made a mistake and then I received a notice that I had to amend my petition and all schedules (because the date was dated a month before I actually filed, lol). I must have been a sight sitting there with all those papers and my son and I writng away....but we got it done that day. The clerk suggested he help me fill them out, gave him a pen, and even provided us with copies of about 3 things I didn't have with me. Our clerk went above and beyond what she was probably required to do. She was/is awesome, she knew to do things I didn't know that turned out to really help me so much more than I even expected (added my past due utilities). (From what I've read, it looks like most clerks are very nice and helpful.)

Luckily, I guess you won't have to do all that, if it's just the Schedule C, and you file an amendment to that one.

I agree, reading here will give you an excellent idea of what to expect, everything with us so far as been right on track.
